  • Hi, Crys. Are you having the same issues I am with heart rate, or just feel you have room to become more efficient? I've talked to numorous people about this, and responses range from disbelief that it'll go that high, to complete lack of concern. But I don't think I'll be able to extend my run distance very much if I can't get HR to stay in the aerobic zone. I did see a website that recommended keeping HR below about 140 even if it means walking all the hills to train the heart to stay in the zone, but I'd be walking a lot more than the hills to keep it that low.
