  • so you like the cascadias? i've not tried them. a friend of mine bought a pair, but they rubbed off the skin from his Achilles Tendon. ((i think he just needed socks that went high enough to prevent that, even my brooks green silence shoes will chafe my achilles if i wear low socks.
  • Montréal. Un livre passionnant en effet; je ne l'ai pas encore terminé, mais je vois qu'il provoque toute une controverse dans la communauté des coureurs.
  • I live in Massachuestts and am thinking of commign up and trying the 30k. I can't seem to find much informantion on the shorter races though, such as the 30k or the half marathon... It looks like a though course and would be a big challenge
  • Oh yes, do it. It took me over 11 hours (I'm old and slow!), but if you train properly and pace yourself, it's a beautiful run. The promoter tries to scare people so that there aren't unprepared runners getting into trouble.
  • It was an amazing race, but really really long. Lots of hiking (too steep to run), a couple of k of brook running. I hope to do it again.

THE RAW DIFFERENCE!


yeap! Like one month ago i turn my diet into "raw food only". For more than a year all my breakfasts were already "raw". It consist of what's called a green smoothie (2bananas,bleuberries,blackberries,strawberries,apples,spinach,celeries,brocolli,goji berries,and chia all that mixed with water) and now i changed my other meals too! my first x race!(2009 x-trail asics)


One word WOW!!! I just did my first trail+mountain race and that was an incredible experience. It was a 6 miler with 1650ft of elevation in the last mile! that was REALLY HARD but i can't wait next year to do it again. I finished 53th out of 246 runners (1:16min) so I'm very proud of myself and I want to say a big thanks to Eric and his good advises!
